Terms and Conditions

By hiring Vallejo Pet Services to care for your pets and/or home, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Services requested with less than 24 hours notice will incur a $10 last minute fee. Services canceled with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full charge of the services cancelled. Vallejo Pet Services reserves the right to adjust the start time of the service at any point before the requested service window begins.

Payment will be considered late eight days after the invoices have been sent. If at that time your invoice is unpaid and we have a card on file for you, we will automatically charge the card on file. If payment cannot be collected, an additional $15 per day late charge will be added to the invoice starting the eighth day after the invoice was emailed.

We are not responsible for injuries or damages incurred while pets are in our care. While we are insured and bonded for the protection of ourselves and our clients, pets can behave unpredictably- particularly when separated from their owners. Dog walking carries with it a certain amount of unpredictability. We do everything we can to keep the dogs safe, but stray dogs, swerving cars, malfunctioning equipment, and roving coyotes cannot be our responsibility. Clients will be fully responsible for any veterinarian bills resulting from incidents that occur during walks.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any client at any time. If we cannot walk a dog due to behavioral issues, we strongly recommend consulting with the UC Davis Behavior Service. One of our walkers is usually happy to attend behavioral consultations or any meetings you have with a trainer, free of charge.

Company Policies

Collars must be provided and include, at a minimum, contact information for the owner, though we strongly recommend up-to-date vaccine tags and a pet license. Click here to read about and purchase your Solano County Pet License.

Two Points of Contact are strongly recommended. Over time, any leash or collar will eventually fail. Pets can wear 2 collars, a collar and a prong collar, a harness and a collar, or any configuration that allows them to be attached via two separate clips. We recommend Leerburg Prong Collar Leashes.

Keys will not be kept on file. Clients who choose not to purchase a lockbox must provide on-site access. We strongly advise against leaving keys under mats, pots, or anywhere not secured by a coded lock. We cannot be held responsible for any home incursions or damages caused by individuals who do not work for Vallejo Pet Services.

Privacy Policy

When you use our service and entrust your personal data to us, we keep it private. We only use your information to provide your services, to inform you of company updates, and for company-related communications. We will never share your information with outside parties or sell your information. Our walkers only have access to your Time to Pet profile as long as they are actively walking with Vallejo Pet Services. When a walker is no longer working for us, their access to your information is removed. We take privacy and security very seriously. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at tye@vallejopetservices.com. Thank you!
